No it's because we beat the medias darling Liverpool. There will be plenty of wailing and gnashing of teeth about how badly Liverpool played and then 10 seconds saying that we were fortunate with the early goal and blah blah blah

I suspect it is more to do with it being the BT Sport game.
Sky can only show 1 minute of highlights for the Sat lunchtime game on Goals on Sunday so BBC may have similar restrictions perhaps?
